“This memoir is over 92,000 words and 294 pages and deals with abuse of children and the ramifications of those acts that affect their lives for years to come. It has been “in the works” for over thirty years, but finally came together over a two year period and was completed in December 2012. My sister and I lived in New Jersey in our earlier years and abuse was a regular occurrence there. While the principle message of the book is negligent, brutal parenting, the story revolves around cleansing us from that period in our lives and weaves a message of freedom that can come to all individuals visited by abuse or incest. Having been in a position to help others through my nursing career I now want to continue that work through my words. So this book is thirteen chapters and each chapter teaches a lesson that should help the reader come to terms with some of their own difficulties, but it is also a basic in depth review of how not to raise your children…”
